Description
oVRshot is a team based competitive multiplayer VR shooter where players compete in fast paced 3vs3 matches. Each player has a bow and a shield at their disposal and uses them alongside powerful abilities and team coordination to control the map and demolish their enemies. The game features 3 modes, King of the Hill, Deathmatch and Demolition.
Interesting angles
oVRshot differ from most of it competitors in two interesting ways:

Fast paced PVP combat that is also comfortable for the player
We feel that we have struck a better balance in fast paced PVP combat than most other VR games. The issue VR generally deals with is movement and the big problem there is giving the player freedom to move while also not really moving him so that motion induced nausea does not occur. We let the player choose between two movements systems that he can the customize further. Our smooth movement system glides the player along the battlefield and for comfort he can set how intense vignette he has. With our dashing system the player can move quickly around the map, dodge incoming fire while firing back without feeling any nausea. We have tested this system on over 1000 players with good results. However for those who are extra susceptible to nausea we have included a screen fade option for the dashing. Both system can also choose between snap and smooth rotations if they are lacking a 360° play area.

One hit death mechanic that makes each encounter more stressful
One hit death has been common in many successful shooters and tends to create more tense encounters since each hit means certain death so each shoot missed by the player feels more punishing. In oVRshot we have such a system however you re-spawn almost instantly after death so that you can get back to the fight. Even though getting back does not take you long due to the fast paced nature of the game and the importance of losing just those few seconds can be crucial to a match.

Window Licker Games is a VR/AR focused game development company located in Steinkjer in mid Norway. The company was founded in June 2017 from a previous student company bearing the same name which all the founders hailed from. Its main focus is to create fun and engaging VR/AR experiences that bring players together while immersing and entertaining them at the same time. The company also co founded the Steinkjer Game Collective along two other companies in 2017 and remains a member.
